Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexandrew Song (ranked 2022 p4p, 2734 weight class) and Aurelius Augustus (ranked 248 p4p, 329 weight class). Song kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Smiths-How Soon Is Now?. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.

Song connects with a nice looking jab.
Augustus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Augustus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Song.
Augustus lands a left and a right that send Song crashing to the mat, dazed. Augustus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Alexandrew Song has been cut.

Song closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Augustus's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Augustus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Song's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Song manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Augustus on his heels. He'll look to pass Augustus's guard now, I'm sure.

Augustus throws a head kick but Song moves out of range.
Augustus fakes the leg kick and cracks Song in the body.

Song lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Augustus.
Augustus throws a head kick that misses.
Song moves in looking to clinch but Augustus pushes him off.
Song throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Song.
Song lunges at Augustus with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Augustus's hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Song looks for the body kick but Augustus saw that one coming.
Augustus throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Augustus bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Song on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Augustus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Augustus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Song changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Augustus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Augustus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Song throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Augustus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Augustus is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Augustus lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Song lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Song chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Augustus can pounce on him.

Augustus lands a big head kick that sends Song tumbling to the mat! Augustus takes a step backwards and waves Song back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Song isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Augustus stacks Song on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Augustus!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Song scores with a jab. Augustus acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Augustus looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Augustus backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Song's temple! It sends Song violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Augustus celebrates and the doctors try to help Song!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Aurelius Augustus!
Aurelius Augustus bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
In defeat, Alexandrew Song stepped up to the mic, saying 'I've lost 3 in a row, but im not done. I need to figure some things out, but i'll be back. '.
