Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malaki Lima (ranked 2035 p4p, 3123 weight class) and Synyx Dall (ranked 225 p4p, 336 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Malaki Lima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Synyx Dall!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

Dall shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Lima is not content to let Dall control the position.
Dall not landing any meaningful shots this time.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dall closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Dall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A shot to the liver by Lima. Beautiful body shot.
Lima pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dall looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lima!

Dall tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Dall misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lima is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Dall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lima is just riding it out for now. Dall eventually gives up the hold.

Synyx Dall dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lima keeps the fight on the outside.
Lima tries a head kick but it misses.
Lima throws a hook to the side of Dall's head but Dall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dall wants to counter the offense by Lima and move into the clinch position.
Dall blocks a head kick by Lima.
Lima throws a low kick but Dall avoids it.
Dall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lima sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dall somewhat.
A shot to the body from Lima misses
and Dall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lima manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dall on his heels. He'll look to pass Dall's guard now, I'm sure.

Dall shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lima's guard.
Dall tries to free his leg and advance position but Lima is retaining full guard.

Lima seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Lima is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dall prevents Lima from getting back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Lima throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Synyx Dall has been cut.
Lima tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dall was well out of range. Poor timing from Lima.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lima is defended easily by Dall.

Dall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lima as he avoids it easily.
Lima throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dall sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lima misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dall.
Dall closes the distance and pushes Lima back into the cage.

Lima slows down the pace here.
Lima lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Dall misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lima.
Dall has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lima after a bit of a struggle.
Malaki Lima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Synyx Dall.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dall tries to pull guard but Lima holds him up against the cage and eventually Dall drops back down to his feet.

Dall on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Lima sends Dall crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lima is motioning to the referee to let Dall up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Dall is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Lima lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Dall up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Lima from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Dall's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Malaki Lima!
