Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Lemieux (ranked 4512 p4p, 4150 weight class) and Kapy Lehma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lemieux closes the distance and clinches.
Lemieux tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lehma's elbow.
Lehma tries to land a knee to the head but Lemieux blocks with his arms.
A head punch on the inside from Lemieux fails to land.

Lemieux's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Lemieux swings wildly with an uppercut but Lehma uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lemieux tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Lehma breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lehma throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lemieux sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lemieux uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lehma.
Lemieux drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lehma sprawls and moves away.
Lehma dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lemieux shoots in but Lehma avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lemieux looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Lemieux doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lehma counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lehma connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lemieux's hands.
Lemieux is rocked!
Lehma lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Lemieux crumples to the floor! Lehma milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kapy Lehma!
In his post fight interview, Kapy Lehma started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
