Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dale Benderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Eigstein! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and James Atkins.

and Benderson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Benderson is working for a kimura but Eigstein is defending it quite comfortably.
Benderson is trying to control. Eigstein wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Benderson content to control rather than advance. Eigstein moves into full guard.

Benderson trying to control but Eigstein is working from the bottom. Benderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Eigstein is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eigstein working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Benderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Benderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Benderson advances position into side control! Eigstein is looking to reverse the position. Benderson is trying to get an arm triangle but Eigstein is defending well. Eigstein is looking for a sweep. Benderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eigstein keeps working. Eigstein throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eigstein can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benderson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Eigstein is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Benderson yanks on the arm and Eigstein is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Benderson.
