PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Metal Mulisha (ranked 3604 p4p, 6146 weight class) and Xen Xui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Metal Mulisha has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Metal Mulisha seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Mulisha lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A solid leg kick lands there for Xui.
Mulisha scores with a nice strike.

It looks like Xen Xui has been cut.
A punch combination from Mulisha misses.
Xui throws a head kick that misses.
Xui looks to land a body kick but Mulisha moved away.
Xui lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mulisha takes a step back to recover.
Mulisha throws out a powerful jab.
Xui shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mulisha lands with an uppercut that bounces Xui off the cage and back into range.

Xui throws a leg kick which misses Mulisha's front leg but catches the back leg as Mulisha tries to avoid it.

Xui takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Xui lands a high kick to the side of Mulisha's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Xui dives into guard, looking to finish.

Mulisha is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Xui's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Oh Mulisha is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mulisha pulls Xui in close to prevent any damage.
Xui wants to control from the top but Mulisha keeps moving.
Mulisha seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mulisha has Xui pulled in close to control his posture.
Xui tries to free his leg and advance position but Mulisha is retaining full guard.

Xui thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

You get the feeling that Mulisha really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Mulisha wants to control but Xui is having none of it.

Mulisha is in all sorts of trouble here.

Xui wants to control the pace but Mulisha is squirming around nicely.

Xui has control of Mulisha's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mulisha regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Metal Mulisha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Xui has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mulisha lands a right hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Xui throws a powerful right kick. Mulisha tried to block low but the kick was high! Mulisha was taken right off of his feet! Xui jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
