PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bullet (ranked 717 p4p, 3207 weight class) and Thiago Araujo (ranked 26 p4p, 120 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Araujo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bullet tries to avoid it but Araujo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bullet to the ground. Bullet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It looked like Bullet was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Araujo.
Araujo darts in looking for a takedown but Bullet gets double underhooks and turns Araujo into the cage.
Araujo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bullet avoids it really well and circles away.

Araujo shoots in looking for a takedown. Bullet tries to sprawl out of it but Araujo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bullet manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bullet appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Araujo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bullet is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Araujo presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bullet tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Bullet gets control of Araujo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bullet will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Araujo drops back looking for a leg! Bullet is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bullet manages to kick Araujo off! Araujo jumps back into Bullet's guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Araujo lands a nice short elbow.

Bullet shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
