Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex The Leviathan (ranked 1546 p4p, 2712 weight class) and Michael MP (ranked 187 p4p, 286 weight class). MP has chosen Whitesnake - Is This Love? as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Rex The Leviathan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rex The Leviathan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The Leviathan slaps away a takedown attempt from MP, before circling back to the center of the mat.
MP throws a quick head kick that skims the top of The Leviathan's head.
MP throws a combination. The Leviathan tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
MP scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

MP postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! The Leviathan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of MP, into his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
MP has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. The Leviathan has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

MP will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
