Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Cole (ranked 1647 p4p, 861 weight class) and Nig Nig (ranked 214 p4p, 136 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cole might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Won't Back Down. On his way into the cage it seems that Michael Cole has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Michael Cole seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole blocks a jab.
Cole fires out a quick counter leg kick but Nig just manages to avoid it.
Cole has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Nig wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Nig is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cole accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nig is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cole lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cole lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nig has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nig and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
