Nikonov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

MacCarthy goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nikonov prevents it.

Nikonov is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down MacCarthy rather than just go for the knockout.
Nikonov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
No luck with that takedown attempt from MacCarthy.
The fight stays on the outside here - MacCarthy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Nikonov! MacCarthy is out on his feet! Nikonov rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - MacCarthy is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! MacCarthy is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
