Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cena (ranked 6863 p4p, 7486 weight class) and Bon Scott (ranked 534 p4p, 555 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Cena! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bon Scott! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cena fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scott avoids it really well and circles away. Cena tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Scott with the counter takedown but Cena avoids it easily. Scott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Cena tries for a takedown but Scott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cena keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bon Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott shoots in but no luck this time. Scott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cena leaves Scott with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Daniel Cena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bon Scott. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cena quickly recovers to half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Scott thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Scott is just content to waste time from the top position. Cena takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Scott missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cena bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Scott's guard. Scott wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Scott is striking but Cena is not phased and passes to half guard. Cena wants to get back to his feet.
Cena throws a strike but Scott avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Scott looking for a sweep. Not yet Scott, not yet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cena is working for a submission of some sort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cena tries to pass the half guard into mount. Scott knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Cena throwing shots but Scott is blocking nicely. Scott is defending against the submission attempts here by Cena.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cena not landing any meaningful shots this time. Scott is refusing to be controlled, as Cena sits in half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cena shoots in but Scott avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cena tries a head kick but it misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Cena will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Scott has a takedown stuffed. Scott shoots in looking for a takedown but Cena manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Scott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cena throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cena fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Scott is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Scott shoots in for a takedown but Cena shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Daniel Cena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bon Scott. Cena misses with a takedown attempt - Scott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Cena tests Scott's chin there with a solid looking shot. Scott circles away from the clinch attempt and Scott counters with a single leg into guard. Cena didn't expect that. Scott trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cena is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Scott defends well.

Scott throws a strike but Cena rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Cena won't allow Scott to sweep him here. Cena throws a big right hand that misses. Daniel Cena overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Scott looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cena trying to control the position from guard on top but Scott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cena is really struggling to control Scott but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Cena moves into range and clinches up with Scott. Scott has Cena pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cena manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Scott tries to pull guard but Cena holds him up against the cage and eventually Scott drops back down to his feet.

He's got his arms around Cena's waist but Cena gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scott off to one side. Scott stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scott wants it to stay on the feet. Scott is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cena sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Scott shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Daniel Cena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bon Scott. The crowd cheers as Scott lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cena doesn't seem phased though. Scott decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Cena has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Scott is on him like a limpet, forcing Cena back against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Scott is pressed up against the cage. Cena has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Scott down to the mat. Scott avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Scott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cena avoids it really well and circles away. Cena wants to clinch. Scott takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Horrible takedown attempt by Scott or perhaps it was just good defense by Cena, which made it look bad. The fight stays on the outside here - Cena looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Scott changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Cena tries for a takedown but Scott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scott turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Scott manages to end up in side control. Cena explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! No luck with that takedown attempt from Cena. Daniel Cena is winning the standup battle so far. Cena looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Cena kicks Scott off and gets back to his feet.
