Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Grandpa (ranked 1832 p4p, 1117 weight class) and Elazar Shalit (ranked 214 p4p, 130 weight class). Tiger Grandpa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiger Grandpa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elazar Shalit!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

Shalit with a nice calf kick.
Shalit lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Grandpa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shalit goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Shalit blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Grandpa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Shalit pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Shalit drops his hands momentarily and Grandpa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Shalit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grandpa moves away.
Grandpa fails with the takedown.
Shalit lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Shalit bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shalit.
Grandpa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grandpa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Grandpa fails to land the takedown.

Grandpa goes for a double leg but Shalit avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shalit continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tiger Grandpa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Shalit lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Grandpa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Grandpa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Grandpa on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Grandpa stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shalit.
Shalit buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Grandpa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Grandpa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Grandpa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shalit sprawls well. Shalit wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grandpa gets slowly back to his feet.
Grandpa scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Grandpa misses with a double jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Shalit. That snapped Grandpa's head back.
Shalit throws the kick towards the body but Grandpa avoids it.
Shalit will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

A nice leg kick from Shalit, right into the meat of the thigh.
Shalit takes a swing at Grandpa's ribcage but misses.
Grandpa is looking for a counter combo.
Shalit looks to land a body kick but Grandpa moved away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shalit blocks a jab.
Grandpa shoots in looking for a takedown but Shalit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Grandpa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Shalit tries to counter with a clinch but Grandpa shakes him off and moves away.
Grandpa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Shalit throws a quick inside leg kick.
Grandpa scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Grandpa takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Elazar Shalit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grandpa needs to keep his hands up - Shalit had a free shot at his head there.
Grandpa scores with a head kick. Shalit tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Elazar Shalit has been cut.
Grandpa looks to land a combination. Shalit sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Shalit is rocked!
Grandpa throws a right and a left that Shalit avoids nicely.
Grandpa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Grandpa thows a left - swing and a miss!
Shalit wants to counter with a clinch but Grandpa pushes him away.
Grandpa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Decent striking displayed by Shalit there.

Shalit wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shalit fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Grandpa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Shalit throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Grandpa gets a double leg takedown into Shalit's guard.
Grandpa is looking to stand up but Shalit won't let him.
Our spies down at at Psycho’s Elites inform us that Shalit has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Grandpa postures up.
Grandpa is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shalit has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Grandpa is looking to defend but Shalit has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Grandpa! Shalit pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Grandpa taps out and this one is all over!
