Badenhorst misses with an uppercut.
Stready tries to clinch up but Badenhorst circles away and keeps his distance.
Badenhorst connects with a jab.
Badenhorst lands with a right hand.
Badenhorst pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stready looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stready lands with a nice combination. Badenhorst backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Yaro Badenhorst has been cut.

Stready looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Badenhorst takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Stready looks for a takedown but Badenhorst sprawls well.
Stready dives in for a single leg takedown but Badenhorst sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Badenhorst slaps away a takedown attempt from Stready, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Yaro Badenhorst has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Stready.

Badenhorst throws a lazy right hand but Stready sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Badenhorst misses with a hook. Stready ducked under it nicely.
Stready ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stready defending well as Badenhorst loads up on a big left hand.
Badenhorst throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Badenhorst is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Badenhorst throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stready stalks Badenhorst and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Badenhorst's face. Badenhorst staggers backwards, shaken.
Badenhorst misses with an uppercut.
Badenhorst avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stready takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stready changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Badenhorst tries to avoid it but Stready manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Badenhorst to the ground. Badenhorst escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stready looks winded!
Badenhorst ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Badenhorst fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stready on the side of the head.
Stready is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Badenhorst lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Stready head around and knocks him out cold! Badenhorst hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yaro Badenhorst!
