Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chakree Somchai (ranked 5887 p4p, 3491 weight class) and Pablo Cruz (ranked 425 p4p, 338 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Somchai throws a wild body kick that Cruz sees coming a mile off.
Somchai pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cruz is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Somchai had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Somchai takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cruz cracks Somchai with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Somchai tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cruz pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Somchai is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
