And Barnes tries to counter it with a takedown but Bagheri pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bagheri thuds his right hand into Barnes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Bagheri swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've been informed that Barnes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Barnes looks to score with a jab to the body but Bagheri is just out of range.

Barnes is looking to take a break and control but Bagheri is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
