Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaarlo Kataja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Olsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olsson has chosen King Gordy - Mr. 187 as his entrance music. Kurt Olsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kataja fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Olsson sprawls well initially but Kataja persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kataja seems to be working for a kimura but Olsson defends the submission attempt. Olsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kataja. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Olsson is defending against the submission attempts here by Kataja.

Kataja changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olsson tries to avoid it but Kataja manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olsson to the ground. Olsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Olsson lands a high kick!

Kataja closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kataja is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Olsson is just riding it out for now. Kataja eventually gives up the hold.
