Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Holland (ranked 3049 p4p, 5238 weight class) and Arseniy Kramorov (ranked 379 p4p, 539 weight class). Arseniy Kramorov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Holland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Arseniy Kramorov! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.

Nice straight punches there by Kramorov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kramorov. Kramorov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kramorov darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Holland drops his hands momentarily and Kramorov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kramorov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kramorov misses with a straight right. It looked like Holland was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kramorov. Holland slips a straight right by Kramorov. As Kramorov tries to get set, Holland tries to push him back and clinch up but Kramorov manages to avoid the attempt. Kramorov thows a left - swing and a miss! Arseniy Kramorov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Holland clinches up with Kramorov and pushes him back against the cage. Holland keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kramorov's efforts to push away. Kramorov is trying to break the clinch but Holland is controlling him. Kramorov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holland is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kramorov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kramorov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Holland to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kramorov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holland's guard. Kramorov throwing strikes but missing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kramorov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kramorov told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Holland utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kramorov throws a strike but Holland rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kramorov can do anything to dispel that myth. Holland trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kramorov's guard. Kramorov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holland. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kramorov is trying to keep Holland in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kramorov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Holland is one step ahead there. Kramorov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Kramorov wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Holland is now in half guard. Holland not landing any meaningful shots this time. Holland will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Holland prevents Kramorov from standing back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Holland throws a big elbow that misses. Kramorov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Holland is one step ahead there. Holland wants to control from the top but Kramorov keeps moving. Kramorov pulls Holland in close to prevent any damage. Kramorov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kramorov has his hands on Holland's head, controlling the position.

Holland gets caught flat footed, as Kramorov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kramorov's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kramorov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Alex Holland is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danga de danga de dang - Kramorov scores with a four punch combination! Holland looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kramorov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kramorov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Holland is one step ahead there. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kramorov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Holland is working away from the top position though. Holland is trying to control the action in half guard but Kramorov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kramorov wants to get back to full guard. Holland perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kramorov missing with a left hand there. Holland was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kramorov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holland. Holland walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kramorov with a nice cross. Kramorov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Holland. Holland circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Holland closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kramorov quickly recovers to half guard. This is the final round! Holland ducks right into an uppercut from Kramorov. We've been told by Holland's head coaches at Cozad MMA New York that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kramorov shoots in but no luck this time. Kramorov throws a lazy right hand but Holland sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Holland swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Holland will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Arseniy Kramorov has been cut. Kramorov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Holland takes one to the chin there. Holland slips a jab from Kramorov. Kramorov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Holland manages to avoid it. Holland tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kramorov manages to circle out of the way. Kramorov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Holland. Holland takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kramorov keeps the fight on the outside. Kramorov pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kramorov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kramorov avoids the head kick by Holland.
Arseniy Kramorov seems to be getting the better of the standup. A slow jab from Kramorov misses its intended target. Kramorov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Holland's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kramorov pulls Holland in close to prevent any damage. Holland throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kramorov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Holland preventing the sweep. Arseniy Kramorov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kramorov is controlling Holland's posture. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kramorov wants to sweep but no luck.
