Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Klay Dee (ranked 599 p4p, 891 weight class) and Oskar Friman (ranked 74 p4p, 111 weight class). Dee comes to the cage accompanied by Tyler, The Creator - Who Dat Boy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Klay Dee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Oskar Friman! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dee throws a shot to the body.
Friman takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dee lands a jab to Friman's midsection. Friman misses with a straight right. Dee swinging wildly here.
Dee lands the left hand. Friman loads up on a big right hand but Dee slips the punch. A bone on bone clash there as Friman blocks the leg kick.
Dee misses with a hook. Friman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dee defends it well. Dee slips a jab and a cross from Friman.
Dee lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Dee looks to land a right hand but Friman moved out of range. Friman looks like he wants to counter punch here. Friman darts in and clinches Dee up against the cage. Friman blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dee misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round. Friman trying to control the action but Dee is working from the bottom. Friman lands with a punch from half guard. My spies in The Lab inform me that Friman has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Friman in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Friman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dee is trying to get back to full guard. Dee is trying to stand up here but Friman is controlling him well. Friman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dee wants to improve his position but Friman is controlling well.
Dee is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at London MMA Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Dee pushes Friman off looking to stand but Friman dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Friman drops an elbow to the side of Dee's head. Dee taking some punishment here, with Friman in his half guard. Dee wants to get back to his feet.
Dee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Friman is looking to advance position but Dee won't allow it. Dee has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Friman is on him like a limpet, forcing Dee back against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Dee fails to land. Friman blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dee swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Dee throws a jab but it's blocked by Friman.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Friman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dee on the side of the head. Dee jabs at Friman's body. Dee misses with a straight right. Dee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Friman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Friman shoots in looking for a takedown but Dee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Friman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dee works the jab nicely. Dee tries to land a body kick and Friman counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dee! Friman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dee sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Friman landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Dee is looking for a sweep. Friman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Friman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dee keeps working. Friman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Friman throwing shots but Dee is blocking nicely. Friman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Friman trying to pass the guard but Dee defending well. Dee wants to get back to full guard. Friman wants to control but Dee is keeping him busy. Dee is trying to stand back up but Friman is controlling him

Dee is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Friman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That was a close round but I would say that Klay Dee will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Dee fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Friman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Friman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dee throws Friman to one side and escapes! Dee throws out a loose jab but Friman uses good head movement to avoid it. Friman drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dee misses with a straight left. Nice sprawl there from Dee as Friman shoots in. Dee throws a counter high kick but Friman was just alert enough to avoid it. Dee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Friman moves away. Friman swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Friman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dee moves away. Dee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Friman slips under a jab from Dee. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Friman! But no joy. Dee lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Friman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dee. That one must have hurt. The fighters circling - Dee throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Friman misses with a takedown attempt - Dee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. It looked like Dee wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Friman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dee lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Dee misses with a straight left. Friman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Dee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dee throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Friman on the side of the head. Dee is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Friman takes a swing at Dee's ribcage but misses. Klay Dee is winning the standup battle so far. Friman checks the leg kick. Friman blocks a head kick by Dee.
Dee throws out a loose jab but Friman uses good head movement to avoid it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Friman! But no joy. Friman looking to score a takedown here. Dee is defending well but Friman drives through and ends up in Dee's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Friman is one step ahead there. Dee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Friman wants to control from the top but Dee keeps moving. Dee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dee seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Klay Dee dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Dee waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Friman. Friman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Dee throws a shot from downtown. Friman moves away and avoids it. Friman shoots in but no luck this time. Sloppy strikes from Dee. Those never looked like landing. Friman moves out of range as Dee strikes. Dee throws a lazy right hand but Friman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dee throws the left hand but Friman avoids the punch easily. Friman feints the counter takedown. Decent striking displayed by Dee there. Dee loads up on a big right hand but Friman slips the punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dee swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Friman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dee cracks Friman with a good jab. Friman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dee makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Friman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dee connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Friman scrambles back to his feet. Dee throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Friman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dee misses the jab. Dee misses with an uppercut. Dee misses with a kick to the body.
Friman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. A lull in the action here as Friman stalls from top position. Dee is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Friman connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dee some visible discomfort.

Friman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dee keeps working. Dee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Friman's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Friman is controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Friman sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dee defending well though. Friman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Friman is nestled in close to Dee, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Klay Dee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Well, if Friman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Friman prevents Dee from standing back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Oskar Friman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dee throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. A looping hook to the body misses from Dee. Friman does a little dance to reset his feet. Friman with the counter takedown but Dee avoids it easily. Friman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dee circles away. Klay Dee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oskar Friman. Dee slaps away a takedown attempt from Friman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dee was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Friman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dee swivels and escapes. Friman staying out of range there. Dee pushes Friman away with a front kick. Dee tests Friman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Klay Dee showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
