Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Waller (ranked 453 p4p, 681 weight class) and Shu Fang Tzeng (ranked 26 p4p, 33 weight class). Waller comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop Dogg - Murder Was the Case. Tzeng is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mantra Chant. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Waller! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shu Fang Tzeng! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.

A cross from Waller lands. Waller scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Waller misses with a hook. Tzeng ducked under it nicely. Waller looks to score with a jab to the body but Tzeng is just out of range. Waller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tzeng was well out of range. Poor timing from Waller. Tzeng misses with a takedown and Waller counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Waller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tzeng. Waller throws a series of punches but Tzeng moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tzeng fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Waller is looking to counter punch. Jack Waller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shu Fang Tzeng. Tzeng walks into a stiff left hand from Waller.
That's one minute gone in the round. Waller misses with a jab to the body
and Tzeng counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Waller on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Waller tries to get out of the position. Waller is not content to let Tzeng control the position. Waller wants to get back to full guard but Tzeng has mounted him! Waller has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Waller trying desperately to get to his feet.

Waller is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Tzeng's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Waller is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Waller trying to control the hands but Tzeng won't let him. Waller looking very determined here, making life difficult for Tzeng.
Tzeng has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Waller wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Waller defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Tzeng's arms. Tzeng looking for the RNC. Waller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tzeng on the ground. Tzeng is working for a rear naked choke. Waller is not defending it well and Tzeng has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Waller refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Waller's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
