Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Glotsby (ranked 7003 p4p, 6312 weight class) and Timothy Justin Johnson (ranked 469 p4p, 451 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Glotsby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timothy Justin Johnson ! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with a left hand and Glotsby counters with a nice double leg into guard. Glotsby seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Glotsby is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rabid Dog that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glotsby trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glotsby slips nicely into half guard. Glotsby controlling the action here. Johnson wants to improve his position but Glotsby is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Glotsby drops an elbow to the side of Johnson 's head. Glotsby passes to full mount! Glotsby has hold of Johnson 's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Johnson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glotsby. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnson is just holding on here. Glotsby manages to take his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glotsby has his arm under Johnson 's chin here. Game over son! Glotsby squeezes tightly and Johnson is forced to tap out!
