Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Louis Moore (ranked 6812 p4p, 7110 weight class) and Fury Sukarno (ranked 590 p4p, 601 weight class). Fury Sukarno is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Louis Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fury Sukarno! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sukarno throws a nice looking combination but Moore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Moore scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sukarno tries to kick Moore off in order to stand up. Moore Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Moore content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Moore seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sukarno for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Check out the look on Moore's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That's one minute gone in the round. Sukarno misses with a series of wild punches.
Sukarno tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Moore jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Sukarno closes the distance and clinches up with Moore, looking for a takedown. Sukarno pushes Moore against the cage but Moore circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Moore went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Sukarno throws a nice looking combination but Moore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Moore stuffs the takedown. Sukarno pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sukarno looks winded! Sukarno fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Moore half committed to a counter leg kick. Louis Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fury Sukarno. Sukarno throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moore's waist but Moore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sukarno off to one side. Moore drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moore just content to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore stands up and we're back to a striking position. Moore drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sukarno seems a little lost for a moment, as Moore dominates the positioning. We've been hearing that Moore has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Moore stands up and beckons Sukarno to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sukarno throws a sloppy head kick and Moore counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sukarno won't be happy with that. Moore is staying tight to Sukarno's torso, preventing him from escaping. Moore landing a few strikes. Moore working the head with strikes. Moore moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moore decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sukarno to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sukarno shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moore as he jumps to the side. Moore quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Sukarno swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Moore counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sukarno won't be happy with that. Sukarno tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moore takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louis Moore dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Sukarno throws a right and a left that Moore avoids nicely. Moore takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Sukarno clinches up against the cage. Moore gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Moore stands up from Sukarno's guard - Moore perhaps looking for a knockout. Moore throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sukarno was covering up waiting for the punch and Moore finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moore sitting in guard here, content to control. Louis Moore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Moore lands a couple of decent looking shots. Moore showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Moore works a leg free and moves into half guard. Moore controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Moore stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sukarno to get to his feet. Moore dodges the punch combination from Sukarno.
Moore shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sukarno is trying to defend but Moore finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sukarno wants to stand back up but Moore manages to pass into side control.
Sukarno is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore cracks Sukarno with a big elbow. Moore decides to stand back up. Moore steps back and let's Sukarno get back to his feet. Sukarno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Sukarno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sukarno misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fury Sukarno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moore closes the distance and clinches. Moore is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sukarno can do to turn this around? Moore gets a trip takedown into half guard. Sukarno is trying to escape back to his feet but Moore uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Moore lands an elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moore controlling from side mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sukarno moves into the clinch. Sukarno avoiding damage as Moore throws knees to the body.
Moore gets a trip takedown into half guard. Moore looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Moore landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Moore performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore winds up and cracks Sukarno with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore stands up and beckons Sukarno to join him on the feet. Moore shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Moore keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Further stalling from Moore.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sukarno throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Moore. Sukarno closes the distance and clinches. Sukarno misses with a knee strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sukarno has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Moore is trying to trip Sukarno. He has hold of a leg but Sukarno is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Moore persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Sukarno takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Moore content to stall in guard here. Moore continues to stall. Moore stands up and waves to Sukarno to follow him.
And that's the end of the fight! Louis Moore showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moore, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
