Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson moves into the clinch.
Gomez throws an elbow that misses.
Nice elbow from Johnson.
Gomez creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Johnson misses with a knee strike.
Johnson scores a nice knee to the body.
Gomez wants to stall.
Gomez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A head kick from Johnson lands but Gomez takes it in his stride.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Gomez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gomez throws a lazy head kick
and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Gomez backing up. Gomez nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson closes the distance and pushes Gomez back into the cage.

Johnson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Johnson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gomez blocks it with crossed arms.

Oh Gomez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gomez seems to have got his legs back now.
Johnson has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Gomez - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Johnson, and another! Gomez is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
