Huknberg moves into range and clinches up with Goldust.
Goldust changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Huknberg fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Huknberg closes the distance and clinches.

Huknberg pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goldust is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Huknberg is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Huknberg has escaped and now he's on top!


Goldust is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Huknberg defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Huknberg with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Huknberg seems to be working for a kimura but Goldust defends the submission attempt.

Goldust is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Huknberg pulls his head out easily.

Huknberg looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Goldust is pressing down on Huknberg's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Goldust is looking for a triangle but Huknberg pushes his legs off easily.
Goldust manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Huknberg manages to get himself to full guard.


Goldust drops back, looking for a kneebar! Huknberg looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Huknberg looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Huknberg!

Goldust is looking to reverse the position.

Huknberg looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Goldust tries to buck Huknberg off but Huknberg is having none of it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Huknberg dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Goldust misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Goldust has gone for a leg lock! Huknberg slips out almost immediately though and dives into Goldust's guard.

Huknberg has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Huknberg has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Goldust defend it? Huknberg steps over the head and cranks it - Goldust is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Huknberg!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Paul Huknberg!
Paul Huknberg decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
