Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Hoyle (ranked 3528 p4p, 2234 weight class) and Cole Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cole Miller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Hoyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cole Miller! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoyle looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hoyle passes Miller's right leg, so he's now in half guard. We've been hearing good reports from Hoyle's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Hoyle perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth. Miller is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller won't allow Hoyle to pass to mount. Well, if Hoyle is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hoyle moves nicely into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoyle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Miller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoyle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Hoyle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miller is just riding it out for now. Hoyle eventually gives up the hold. Hoyle is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoyle is looking to advance position but Miller won't allow it. Hoyle is looking for a kimura here.
Hoyle content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hoyle trying to control the action but Miller is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoyle wants to pass the guard but Miller is defending well. Hoyle has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Miller defend it? Hoyle steps over the head and cranks it - Miller is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hoyle!
