Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joint Smoker!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.

Jones looks for a takedown but Smoker sprawls well.
Smoker looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Smoker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nice takedown defense from Smoker. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smoker is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Smoker circles away and we're back to standing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Smoker! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smoker moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smoker avoids it really well and circles away.
Smoker is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A nice side step and Smoker releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Jones tries for a takedown but Smoker circles away easily
and Smoker makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Smoker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Smoker let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

and Smoker counters with a stiff right hand.

and Smoker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Joe Jones has been cut.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Jones moves to clinch but Smoker breaks away
and Smoker scores with a counter punch that sends Jones to the canvas! Smoker smells blood - he's punishing Jones with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jones has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joint Smoker!
