Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chunk Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hari throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Liddel jabs Hari right on the nose. Hari blinks but takes it well.

Liddel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hari, pushing him back against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Liddel.

Liddel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Liddel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Liddel's corner calls for a 1-2. Liddel obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

You get the feeling that Liddel really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddel can do anything to dispel that myth.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Liddel takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hari is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hari extends the arm and Liddel is forced to tap!
