Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Gunnarsson (ranked 3687 p4p, 2696 weight class) and Frank Andersson (ranked 449 p4p, 342 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Magnus Gunnarsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Andersson!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Andersson working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Andersson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've been hearing good reports from Gunnarsson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Andersson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gunnarsson uses from the top position.
