Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Renerye Sale Anderson (ranked 2075 p4p, 1053 weight class) and John Edmonds (ranked 251 p4p, 138 weight class). Edmonds is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Bus. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

Anderson tries to move into range but Edmonds moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Edmonds uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Anderson.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Edmonds has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A punch combination from Anderson misses.
Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Edmonds.
Edmonds feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edmonds stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
