Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hin Areni (ranked 726 p4p, 767 weight class) and Disco Kid (ranked 89 p4p, 94 weight class). Areni comes into the arena with Mosaique blaring out of the sound system. Kid comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wu Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Disco Kid is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Areni on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kid tries to clinch up.
Horrible takedown attempt by Areni or perhaps it was just good defense by Kid, which made it look bad.
Kid circles away from the clinch attempt.
Areni ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kid scores with a body shot.
Kid tests Areni's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kid throws a body shot but no joy.
Areni drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Areni stands up over Kid, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Our spies down at at The House Of Pain inform us that Kid has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Areni wants to control from the top but Kid keeps moving.
Areni is really struggling to control Kid but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kid is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Areni is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Kid looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Areni controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kid controls Areni momentarily but Areni frees himself.
Kid pulls Areni in close to prevent any damage.

Kid is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Areni rolls with it to try and escape but Kid cranks on the arm and Areni is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
