Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, LP Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alejandro DelToro! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DelToro lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. DelToro gets a double leg takedown into Chan's guard. Chan tries to strike from the bottom.

Chan has his foot on DelToro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. DelToro works his way back into a safe position though. DelToro working some strikes from top position. DelToro with a nice head shot there. Chan keeping moving, preventing DelToro from controlling successfully. Chan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but DelToro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hammerfist, elbow! yells DelToro's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's one minute gone in the round. DelToro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, DelToro has managed to get both his arms back between Chan's legs - danger averted. Chan is breathing heavily. DelToro landing some decent shots from guard. DelToro stands up over Chan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

DelToro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. DelToro lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. DelToro controlling the pace. Chan gets full guard. Chan has a closed guard, preventing DelToro from standing up. DelToro lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. DelToro distracts Chan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. DelToro's corner is telling him to maintain position. DelToro stands up over Chan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. DelToro connects with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DelToro gets to his feet and stands over Chan, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Chan felt that one! DelToro unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Chan from any more punishment!
