Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Manki Keen! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Keen is thwarting Diaz's attempts to control the position. Keen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Keen trying to control from half guard but Diaz is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz has hold of Keen's hands but Keen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Diaz wants to control but Keen is keeping busy.
Keen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Keen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Diaz sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz is defending against the submission attempts here by Keen.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working. Diaz is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Diaz?

Keen working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Keen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Diaz is surviving well by controlling Keen's body position as best he can. Keen connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keen lands a nice shot to the head. Keen avoids the attempt from Diaz to control. Keen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Keen looking to isolate an arm here. Diaz doesn't see it coming and as Keen extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Keen!
