Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Big Ben (ranked 25163 p4p, 5219 weight class) and John Patill (ranked 654 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Big Ben! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Patill! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patill moves away from the strike by Ben. And Patill tries to counter it with a takedown but Ben pushes his down on his head and steps out. Patill moves into the clinch successfully.
Ben is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Patill pulls him back up using the underhooks. Patill is trying to drag Ben to the mat but Ben just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ben breaks the clinch.
Patill looks to score with a jab to the body but Ben is just out of range. Patill looks to land a body kick but Ben moved away. The fight moves into the clinch position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ben is fighting off a takedown attempt but Patill is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ben to the mat. Ben regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Patill is standing up over Ben. Ben looks to escape but Patill dives into side control.

Patill changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Patill keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ben. Patill shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Patill was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! John Patill has got the better of the ground game so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Patill looking to control and managing it successfully. Patill has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Patill avoids the attempt from Ben to control.

John Patill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Ben tries to clinch there but Patill circles away.
Patill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ben.
John Patill is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ben gets a clinch. Patill drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ben gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ben gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Patill seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Patill is continuing to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patill working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ben doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ben manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Patill is working away from the top position though. Patill is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. More stalling from Patill.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Patill circles away from the clinch attempt and Patill counters with a single leg into guard. Ben didn't expect that. Ben is looking to stand back up but Patill counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ben.

Patill is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ben is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ben is trying to improve his position. Ben is trying to work for a sweep but Patill has mounted him! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! John Patill is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Ben is desperately trying to improve his position but Patill has a good base and remains in mount.
And that's the end of the fight! John Patill comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Patill winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
