Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alen Zalac (ranked 4279 p4p, 3746 weight class) and Ben Warren (ranked 498 p4p, 458 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alen Zalac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Warren!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.

Warren fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zalac to the ground. Warren is now in Zalac's guard.

Warren is working for a kimura but Zalac is defending it quite comfortably.

Warren drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zalac looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zalac looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zalac!

Warren is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Warren shoots in looking for a takedown but Zalac manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Warren's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Donk. Zalac catches Warren right on the button with a cross.

Zalac has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Warren to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zalac is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Warren pulls down on the head and he's put Zalac to sleep! This one is all over!
