PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Bravo (ranked 1985 p4p, 3505 weight class) and Kaino Ukkonen (ranked 248 p4p, 407 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ukkonen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bravo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ukkonen connects with a nice short shot to Bravo's temple.

Ukkonen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Ukkonen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
