Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Exeudo Oni (ranked 2429 p4p, 2712 weight class) and Jorge Adesanya (ranked 344 p4p, 373 weight class). Adesanya is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Scarface intro Theme. Jorge Adesanya will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Adesanya scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jorge Adesanya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oni throws a hook but Adesanya avoids it easily.
Oni sets himself, and Adesanya steps forward looking for the clinch! Oni avoids it this time.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Adesanya has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oni can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Oni in particular looking to stall.

That was a close round but I would say that Exeudo Oni will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Adesanya's corner calls for a 1-2. Adesanya obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

You can see the frustration on Adesanya's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Oni content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Oni's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Oni knocks out Adesanya with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Oni before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Oni picks up the big W with a huge KO!
