Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olusola Oni (ranked 2663 p4p, 4120 weight class) and Maris Lakis (ranked 285 p4p, 412 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Olusola Oni has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Olusola Oni seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

An inside leg kick from Oni misses.
Oni misses the jab.
Oni just misses with a punch to the body.
Oni stuffs the takedown.
Maris Lakis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lakis looks for a takedown but Oni sprawls well.
Lakis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oni at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lakis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lakis misses with a few strikes there.
A counter left hand to the body from Oni misses its target.
Lakis takes one to the chin there.
Oni throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oni cracks Lakis with an uppercut from hell and Lakis crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Oni's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Lakis is rocked!
It looks like Maris Lakis has been cut.
Oni decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lakis, up you get!
Lakis is still on wobbly legs! Can Oni finish him?
Lakis drops his hands momentarily. Oni doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Lakis staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Lakis doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Olusola Oni!
