Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dawid Kurwa (ranked 4855 p4p, 5965 weight class) and Adam Anger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dawid Kurwa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Anger! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kurwa can pounce on him.
Anger sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Kurwa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anger sprawls well. Anger wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kurwa gets slowly back to his feet. Anger wants to counter the offense by Kurwa and move into the clinch position. Kurwa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kurwa avoids the head kick by Anger.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kurwa or perhaps it was just good defense by Anger, which made it look bad. Anger is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kurwa with a lazy takedown attempt and Anger counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawid Kurwa. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short body shot lands from Anger as the two fighters clinch.
Kurwa trying to control the position but instead, Anger has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kurwa into the cage. Anger gets control of Kurwa's arms and successfully pulls guard. Anger will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurwa wants to control from the top but Anger keeps moving. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anger can do anything to dispel that myth. Kurwa in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Anger holds on and takes a little breather. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anger is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Anger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kurwa wants to stand but Anger is controlling the position. Anger keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kurwa's head. Anger gets to his feet - Kurwa follows without any prompting. Anger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kurwa did well to prevent Anger getting side control. Kurwa is breathing heavily. Anger seems to be working for a kimura but Kurwa defends the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anger content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kurwa pushes Anger off looking to stand but Anger dives back in and keeps control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Anger takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Anger is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kurwa on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Anger working Kurwa over with strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Anger decides to stand up. Anger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kurwa, pushing him back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anger looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kurwa! Anger moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Kurwa bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick by Anger misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Anger tries to move into range but Kurwa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Anger rushes Kurwa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anger has had enough of the clinch but Kurwa keeps him there for the moment. Anger holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Kurwa drops down looking for an ankle pick but Anger pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kurwa shoots in for a takedown but Anger shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Anger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kurwa to the ground. Anger is now in Kurwa's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Anger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Anger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anger stays in close to Kurwa's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kurwa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kurwa working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Anger. Anger pushing down on Kurwa's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Anger looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kurwa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Anger controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurwa manages to get to full guard.

Adam Anger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Anger fails with a takedown attempt. Kurwa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Anger shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kurwa trying to hold on to Anger's head to control him but Anger postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Anger. Anger raining down hammerfists from mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. You get the feeling that Kurwa really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Anger moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kurwa has worked his arm free - good work by Kurwa!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Anger is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kurwa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Anger is trying to get an arm triangle but Kurwa is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kurwa struggling a bit here. Anger stands up and beckons Kurwa to his feet. Anger throws a leg kick and Kurwa counters with a one-two to the body. Anger connects with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anger dives in and scores a takedown into Kurwa's guard. Anger looking to pass the guard. Anger not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Anger throws a big right hand that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Anger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kurwa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Anger working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dawid Kurwa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Adam Anger is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Anger slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Anger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Anger winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
