Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Solomon Cook (ranked 23987 p4p, 24004 weight class) and Dick Doss (ranked 572 p4p, 556 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Solomon Cook!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Doss!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.

Doss takes one to the chin there.
Cook has Doss up against the ropes in a clinch.
Doss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Doss moves out of range as Cook strikes.
Cook drops his hands momentarily and Doss takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Solomon Cook has been cut.
Cook feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dosss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Doss looks to land a left hand but Cook moved out of range nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Doss lands with a hook. Cook tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cook slips under a jab from Doss.
Good standup being displayed there by Doss as he connects with a hook.
A punch lands to the side of Cook 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doss scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Cook beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

A slow jab from Doss misses its intended target.
Doss keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cook.
A little jabbing left from Doss on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Cook drops his guard momentarily, allowing Doss to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Cook! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Doss takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dick Doss!
