Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Falcon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hunter Andrews! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falcon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Andrews controls from within his opponent's guard. Andrews stands up and waves to Falcon to follow him. Falcon misses with a two punch combination.
Andrews throws a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andrews shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Falcon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Andrews stands up and waves to Falcon to follow him. Andrews on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falcon shoots in for a double leg but Andrews sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Andrews lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Falcon throws a combination. Andrews tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Hunter Andrews has been cut. Falcon tries to sprawl but Andrews drives through with a takedown into half guard. Falcon trying to hold on to Andrews's head to control him but Andrews postures up.
Andrews frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Andrews raining down shots from the mount! Andrews with a couple of short strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrews tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Andrews is looking to work his way around to Falcon's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Andrews controlling from the full mount. Andrews with the ground and pound from mount. Andrews looking to control and managing it successfully. Falcon is trying to reverse the position but instead Andrews has taken his back - oops! Falcon defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Andrews's arms. Andrews is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Falcon knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Falcon for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrews sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Falcon taps out!
