Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wilfred Ainsworth (ranked 2569 p4p, 2951 weight class) and Jim Beam (ranked 321 p4p, 348 weight class). Wilfred Ainsworth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ainsworth avoids a kick to the body.
Ainsworth throws a hook but Beam blocks it.
Beam swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Beam misses with a body punch
and Ainsworth counters with a straight right hand.
Ainsworth scores with a leg kick.
Beam fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ainsworth feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Beams jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Beam, as that shot connected.
Beam scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ainsworth in his tracks.

As Ainsworth backs off Beam throws a huge counter combo but Ainsworth manages to avoid it all.

Beam jumps guard but Ainsworth stands there with Beam around his waist. Beam gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Beam is trying to break the clinch but Ainsworth has him pressed against the cage.
Ainsworth has a couple of punches blocked by Beam.
Beam looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Beam can't find room to land a body shot as Ainsworth controls the action.
Ainsworth lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Beam.

Beam jumps guard but Ainsworth stands there with Beam around his waist. Beam gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ainsworth lands a left hand that snaps the head of Beam backwards.
Beam tries to break free but Ainsworth pushes him back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Ainsworth scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ainsworth lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Beam backwards.
Ainsworth pushes Beam back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ainsworth on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Beam misses with a body punch.
Beam blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Beam fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wilfred Ainsworth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Beam.
Beam tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ainsworth smiles and moves away.
Some bone on bone action there as Beam checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Beam is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Ainsworth fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Beam just misses with a punch to the body.
Beam shoots in looking for a takedown but Ainsworth manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beam's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Beam walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ainsworth throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Beam on the side of the head.

Beam is rocked!
Wilfred Ainsworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beam gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Ainsworth gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilfred Ainsworth!
Wilfred Ainsworth spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
