Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Bogard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Haseesh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haseesh is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Guns n Roses - Mr Brownstone. Omar Haseesh has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rocky Bogard's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bogard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Haseesh is fending him off so far but Bogard persists. Nope, Haseesh circles away and we're back to standing. Bogard tries to clinch but Haseesh is having none of it. Bogard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Haseesh.
Haseesh drives through and clinches with Bogard against the cage.
Haseesh can't get the takedown.
Bogard prevents the takedown attempt.
Bogard is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Haseesh gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Haseesh throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bogard blocks it with crossed arms. Bogard goes for a takedown in the clinch but Haseesh prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Bogard. That's going to take a lot out of him. Haseesh slows down the pace here.

Bogard wants to clinch but Haseesh slips to the side and Haseesh counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bogard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bogard pushes Haseesh off looking to stand but Haseesh dives back in and keeps control.
Bogard is staying active underneath Haseesh, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Haseesh works his way into full mount! Bogard is trying to stand up. Haseesh lands a big elbow. Haseesh working for a submission but Bogard is keeping him at bay.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bogard's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Bogard is breathing heavily. Haseesh wants to control the pace but Bogard is squirming around nicely. Haseesh sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Haseesh content just to control the position here. Bogard is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bogard blocking the ground and pound. Haseesh lands with some strikes. Bogard is trying to stand up. Bogard is squirming around, avoiding Haseesh's attempts to control the action. Bogard is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Bogard is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Haseesh misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Haseesh thowing shots but they're missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haseesh punching from mount but Bogard doing a good job of avoiding damage. Haseesh controlling the position easily from mount. Bogard wants to get back to his feet.

Haseesh darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Haseesh decides to stand and escape the position. Rocky Bogard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bogard darts in trying to clinch and Haseesh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bogard won't be happy with that. Haseesh tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Haseesh has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Haseesh wants to control but Bogard is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haseesh is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Haseesh prevents Bogard from escaping the position. Haseesh is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bogard knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Haseesh trying to control the action but Bogard is working from the bottom. Haseesh is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bogard is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Haseesh asserts his dominance and retains side control. Haseesh has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Haseesh rushes Bogard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bogard jumps guard but Haseesh stands there with Bogard around his waist. Bogard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bogard throws a right hand that Haseesh ducks under and follows up with a left that Haseesh also avoids with ease. Haseesh shoots in but Bogard avoids the takedown attempt easily.

This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Haseesh is trying to control the position but Bogard postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Omar Haseesh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Bogard clinches but Haseesh breaks the clinch and Haseesh counters with a takedown into side control. Haseesh is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Haseesh stands up and we're back to a striking position. A head kick misses from Haseesh. Bogard tries to clinch but fails miserably and Haseesh counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bogard wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Haseesh has him pressed against the cage. Haseesh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haseesh shoots in for a double leg but Bogard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Haseesh shoots in but Bogard avoids the takedown attempt easily. Haseesh takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Haseesh tries to clinch up. A right-left combo lands from Bogard. Bogard misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rocky Bogard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haseesh has managed to clinch.
Haseesh pulls guard. Haseesh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bogard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Haseesh pulls Bogard in close to his closed guard and prevents Bogard from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bogard decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bogard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Haseesh has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bogard is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Haseesh pulls him back up using the underhooks. Haseesh looking for a takedown. Rocky Bogard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Omar Haseesh. Haseesh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Haseesh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Haseesh showed some decent athleticism there. Bogard is staying active underneath Haseesh, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haseesh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bogard's head. Haseesh wants to pass the guard but Bogard is defending well. Haseesh thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bogard is trying to stand.
Haseesh with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Haseesh is just content to waste time from the top position. Bogard takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Omar Haseesh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bogard throws a combination that misses and Haseesh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Haseesh. Haseesh is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bogard can't fight it off and eventually Haseesh manages to take the fight to the floor. Bogard looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bogard being controlled here, momentarily. Rocky Bogard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Omar Haseesh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Haseesh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
