Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jab Buckeye (ranked 2353 p4p, 2237 weight class) and Marko Rakic (ranked 290 p4p, 274 weight class). Buckeye kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Right above it lil Wayne . Rakic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Right Above It. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

Rakic gets a clinch.
Buckeye is trying to trip Rakic. He has hold of a leg but Rakic is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Buckeye persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rakic is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Rakic seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rakic connects with a nice short shot to Buckeye's temple.
