Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brady Baird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hero Tasaki!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tasaki scores with a hook.
It looks like Brady Baird has been cut.
Tasaki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Baird sprawls well initially but Tasaki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Baird is defending against the submission attempts here by Tasaki.
Tasaki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Baird defends it well.
Tasaki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Baird is just riding it out for now. Tasaki eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Baird wants to control but Tasaki is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Baird is refusing to be controlled, as Tasaki sits in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tasaki stops Baird from getting back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tasaki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Baird is looking to control Tasaki's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Baird avoid being mounted?
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Baird tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tasaki swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Baird.
Baird wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tasaki, who protects the arm well.
Tasaki manages to get back to half guard.

Tasaki has one foot on Baird's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Baird slips a jab and a cross from Tasaki.
Tasaki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Baird!
Tasaki with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Baird tries to reverse the position but Tasaki maintains control.
Tasaki looking to secure an arm triangle but Baird defends it well.
Tasaki avoids the attempt from Baird to control.

Baird is looking to improve his position but Tasaki isn't that keen on the idea.

Baird bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tasaki preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Tasaki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baird doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baird manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hero Tasaki dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Brady Baird's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tasaki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baird shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tasaki as he jumps to the side.
Danga de danga de dang - Tasaki scores with a four punch combination!
Tasaki jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tasaki clinches.
Tasaki wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tasaki can't break the clinch.
Tasaki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tasaki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tasaki looking for a guillotine here but Baird defends easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Baird tries to free his leg and advance position but Tasaki is retaining full guard.
Tasaki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baird doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baird manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Tasaki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baird gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tasaki is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Baird rolls with it to try and escape but Tasaki cranks on the arm and Baird is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
