A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cann.

We've been hearing good reports from Briggs's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cann winds up and cracks Briggs with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Cann is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Briggs defends it well.

Briggs is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cann is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Cann drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Briggs is trying to buck Cann off.
Briggs is looking to get back to his feet here but Cann is keeping cool and he's managed to take Briggs's back.

Cann is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Briggs is defending well though. Cann let's go of the attempt for now.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Cann lets loose with a powerful body kick. Briggs will feel that in the morning.
