Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Marvin Vettori!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Smith crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vettori - the referee stops the clock and Smith gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vettori. Smith manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vettori sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Vettori pushes him off.
A head kick misses from Vettori.
Vettori scores with a body shot.
Vettori loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
Smith misses with a looping right.
Smith darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Vettori.
Sloppy strikes from Vettori. Those never looked like landing.
Smith takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Chad Smith has been cut.

Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vettori.

Smith loads up on a big right hand but Vettori slips the punch.
Marvin Vettori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Vettori throws a low kick, looking for Smith's leg but Smith calmly moves out of range.
Smith smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Smith is looking to counter the offense by Vettori and move into the clinch.

Vettori scores with a crisp jab that stopped Smith in his tracks.
Smith takes a shot to the body in his stride.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Vettori lands a hook that snaps the head of Smith backwards.

A looping hook to the body misses from Vettori. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Smith makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

A punch lands to the side of Vettori 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Smith looks to throw the jab but Vettori is out of range.

Vettori comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Smith lands a nice shot to the body.
Vettori lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A swing and a miss from Smith.
Smith is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Vettori lands a lovely overhand right.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Smith throws the left hand but Vettori avoids the punch easily.
Vettori listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Vettori misses with a hook.
Smith throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vettori stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Smith shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Vettori misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smith is looking to clinch.
Vettori goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vettori.

Smith lands a left and a right that send Vettori crashing to the mat, dazed. Smith thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Vettori is rocked!
Vettori uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
A countering left hand to the body from Vettori misses.
Vettori is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.

Vettori lands a jab.
Vettori throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Vettori seems to have recovered his senses.
Smith avoids a kick to the body.
Vettori throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Vettori shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Smith drops Vettori with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vettori looks back up at him and smiles so Smith waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Vettori takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Smith sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Vettori bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
