The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanaski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McGuire defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Romanaski.
McGuire drops Romanaski with a big left hand and mounts him. Romanaski is in big trouble!
Romanaski is rocked!
It looks like Misha Romanaski has been cut.
McGuire wants to take Romanaski's back but he can't do it this time.
Romanaski is still in real trouble! Can McGuire finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGuire goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Romanaski turns into him and now he's in McGuire's guard.

Romanaski got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGuire has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Romanaski has managed to get both his arms back between McGuire's legs - danger averted.
McGuire throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Romanaski escapes and throws McGuire's legs to the side, diving into side control!

McGuire is looking for a sweep. Romanaski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
McGuire is working hard here to advance position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Romanaski is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Romanaski prevents McGuire from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jake McGuire will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Misha Romanaski's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
McGuire lands a jab.
Romanaski throws a body punch but McGuire moves out of range.
Romanaski takes one on the button.
McGuire looks to land a combination but Romanaski avoids it well.
Romanaski swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McGuire cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That has opened up Misha Romanaski's cut even more.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McGuire lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Romanaski has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Romanaski and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
BOOM! McGuire lands a beautiful left hook that drops Romanaski. Romanaski tries to recover but McGuire is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Romanaski lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake McGuire!
