Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edson Bidon Barbosa (ranked 630 p4p, 456 weight class) and Roy Whitaker (ranked 79 p4p, 58 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Barbosa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Barbosa lands a left and a right that send Whitaker crashing to the mat, dazed. Barbosa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Barbosa gets in close and tags Whitaker with a short punch that almost sends Whitaker to the mat! Oh Whitaker is in big trouble! He turns his back on Barbosa, trying to create some distance but Barbosa rushes him, striking wildly and Whitaker goes down! The referee tackles Barbosa into the cage to end the fight! Barbosa is one violent man!
