Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Cacador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rex Snow looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Cacador!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rex Snow!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cacador takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cacador shoots in but Snow avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Snow stuffs the takedown attempt from Cacador. Cacador gets slowly back to his feet.
Snow tries to clinch but Cacador moves out of range.
Snow is looking to clinch but Cacador is avoiding it.

Snow closes the distance and clinches.

Snow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cacador fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Cacador. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Snow clinches.

Snow breaks from the clinch.
Snow is looking to clinch.
Snow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Snow moves into the clinch.
Snow manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Snow's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

and Snow counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Snow is looking to stand up but Cacador won't let him.
Cacador looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cacador has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Cacador misses with a takedown

and Snow moves into the clinch.

Snow lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Snow feints and as Cacador raises his hands in defense, Snow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Snow looking to sit in guard and control but Cacador gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Snow looking for a guillotine here but Cacador defends easily.
Snow pulls Cacador in close to prevent any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Snow drives through and clinches with Cacador against the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Snow can't get the takedown.

Cacador manages to pull guard.
Cacador controls Snow momentarily but Snow frees himself.
Snow controls from within his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Snow's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Snow's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Cacador wants to sweep here but Snow controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rex Snow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Snow keeps control of Cacador as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Snow gets control of Cacador's arms and successfully pulls guard. Snow will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Snow seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Cacador seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Snow stands up and waves to Cacador to follow him.
Rex Snow is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Snow rushes Cacador and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Cacador.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Cacador gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Snow uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Cacador fails with the takedown
and Snow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cacador thinking.

Snow closes the distance and clinches.
Snow gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cacador.
Cacador drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Snow's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rex Snow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
