Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trey Diesel (ranked 7434 p4p, 25382 weight class) and Scott Trip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Trip looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trey Diesel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott Trip! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diesel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Trip is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Diesel dives into side control.
Diesel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trip keeps working. Trip isn't going anywhere. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here. Diesel grinds an elbow into Trip's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diesel lands an elbow. Diesel working the body and head with strikes. Diesel decides to stand back up. Diesel steps back and let's Trip get back to his feet. Trip instigates a clinch. Diesel wants a takedown.
Diesel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Trip closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diesel circles away. Diesel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Trip defends well and Diesel ends up having to push Trip into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Excellent takedown into side control there by Diesel. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diesel stands up and beckons Trip to his feet. Trip looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diesel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Diesel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Diesel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Trip throws a nice inside leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diesel drives through and clinches with Trip against the cage.
Diesel throws a knee to the head but misses.
Trip wants the takedown. Diesel is fighting it off but Trip persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Diesel's guard against the cage. Trip preventing the sweep. Diesel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Diesel being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diesel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Trip manages to get himself to full guard.
Trip looking to control but Diesel passes into half guard.
Diesel trying to control from half guard but Trip is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trip pushes Diesel off but Diesel dives into side control.
Diesel in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Trip is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Trey Diesel!
