Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Sekera (ranked 4318 p4p, 5465 weight class) and Cain McCall (ranked 468 p4p, 527 weight class). Sekera's entrance music is Bleed it out. A fine choice. Cain McCall has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pavel Sekera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cain McCall! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from McCall misses the target. Sekera throws a big counter combination but McCall scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. McCall misses with the combination.
Sekera avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! McCall misses with the combination.
Sekera has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. McCall displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. McCall just misses with a punch to the body.
Sekera fails in his attempt to clinch. Sekera closes the distance and clinches. Sekera manages to pull guard.
Sekera is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sekera wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Sekera not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sekera avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. McCall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sekera is proving hard to escape from. Sekera wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sekera has a closed guard, preventing McCall from standing up. McCall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sekera is looking for a triangle but McCall pushes his legs off easily.
McCall throwing strikes from guard but Sekera blocks nicely. McCall wants to get up but he can't break Sekera's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. McCall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sekera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McCall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McCall looking to pass the guard. McCall wanted to stand there but Sekera had control of the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sekera uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McCall. Sekera takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sekera closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McCall to the mat! McCall manages to get full guard. Sekera in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McCall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sekera is one step ahead there. Sekera distracts McCall with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sekera throwing strikes from guard but McCall blocks nicely. McCall looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Sekera passes into side control.
Sekera throws an elbow but McCall slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sekera wants to lay and pray for a moment but McCall keeps working. McCall is looking to regain half guard here but Sekera keeps moving and retains side control. Sekera decides to stand back up. Sekera steps back and let's McCall get back to his feet. McCall looking to land some kicks to the body here.
McCall drops Sekera with a beautiful combination! Sekera stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McCall is looking for the KO!
It looks like Pavel Sekera has been cut. McCall fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Sekera to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Sekera looks to clinch but McCall throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Sekera taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
