Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Sigurdsson throws a series of punches but Mesido moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sigurdsson sends Mesido crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sigurdsson is motioning to the referee to let Mesido up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Otavio Mesido has been cut.
Mesido misses with an uppercut
and Sigurdsson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sigurdsson drops Mesido with a huge uppercut! Mesido drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Sigurdsson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
